Chef Amber is a private chef and owner of culinary brand “ Lowkey Gourmet”. Chef was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. She graduated from Oakwood University in Huntsville, AL with a Bachelors of Science in Fitness and Wellness with a Nutrition Minor. After graduation she then attended Central Piedmont Community College where she graduated with an Associates degree in Applied Science from the Culinary Arts Program. Growing up Amber heavily watched her mother and both grandmothers cook for any and everyone. It was the instant gratification on everyone’s faces that made her want to make this her career! She is also the co-owner of a soul food catering company in Charlotte called Sweet Potato Jones. Chef has cooked for many athletes and entertainers in her short time in this field. Thomas Davis (Retired Carolina Panther) & Family, Michael Kidd-Gilcrest (NBA) & Family, Mick Jenkins (Rapper) and many other football players who are her regular meal prep clients! Chef is officially serving up Charlottes most fashionable soul food, lowkey gourmet style!
